There took place the meeting with the IcelandersAt the information briefing the Icelanders were introduced to the fishery-industrial complex of the Primorye territory
The information briefing for the representatives of the Icelandic companies has been held by the President of the Association of the Primorye fishery companies, Dmitriy Glotov and the head of the Fishery Department of the Primorye territory Administration, Igor Uleyskiy. The representatives of the twelve Icelandic fishery-industrial companies have arrived to Vladivostok to take part to the First International Fishery Congress, to make acquaintance with the fishery industry of the Far East and to find partners for further cooperation. Igor Uleyskiy has presented to the foreigners the fishery-industrial complex of the Primorye territory, has told about the place it occupies in the system of the fishery industry of the Far East and of Russia. The Head of the Fishery Department has noted, that the Primorye territory is a key one in the fishery industry of the country, a prospective one for the further development and investment. Dmitriy Glotov has told about the Association of the Primorye fishery industry companies activities and its role in the fishery-industrial complex of the Far East. The APFIC President has underlined, that the scopes of the Association work are the regaining the balance of interests of all the fishery-industrial enterprises and organizations of the Primorye territory, establishment of constructive interrelations between the fishermen and the State structures, improvement of the legislative base. Dmitriy Glotov has told about the problems to have been sold by the Association in order to improve the performance of the Primorye territory fishery-industrial complex. “The visit of the Icelandic delegation is very interesting and important for us, - the APFIC President told, - We hope to find the ways of mutual cooperation”. After the briefing there took place the reception, where the head of the Icelandic delegation, Jon Asbergsson, has introduced the representatives of the Icelandic companies, while the APFIC President, in his turn, has presented the members of the APFIC Council – the heads of the largest and the most important fishery-industrial enterprises of the Primorye territory.
