Federal Agency for fishery (FAR) data on catching the marine living resources in the Far East basin within the 4 months of 2007
According to the FAR press-service, the catching output in the
Far East basin amounted to
727.2 thousand tons, i.e. 35.3 thnd MT (5.1%) more than within a similar period of 2006 (691.9 thnd MT), including:
- Alaska Pollack catching output amounted to 575.2 thynd MT (531.3 thnd MT in 2006), i.e. 43.9 thnd MT (8.3 %) more than within a similar period of 2006;
- Herring catching output amounted to 67.6 thnd MT (90.3 thnd MT in 2006), i.e. 22.7 thnd MT (25.1%) less, than within a similar period of 2006.
